NEEDS SINGERS!
EVERYDAY PEOPLE is a high-energy community chorus and professional band based in Pensacola and led by vocalist and pianist David Suhor. We are not your traditional chorale. We are a designated song leader (maybe you?), rocking chorus, rhythm section and often a saxophone.
We are JOY in community, expressed in song! We perform POPULAR, singable, uplifting tunes. We reach out to the entire community as a gay-friendly musical collaboration. We welcome adults of all genders, races, religious leanings and sexual orientations.
No audition is required, but vocalists must be able to blend well, in unison or free-harmonizing, WHILE clapping/moving in rhythm much like a gospel choir. We learn parts by ear and read lyrics from a monitor.
We are committed to practicing weekly at the Belmont Arts Center, 401 N Reus St in Pensacola. Our schedule it TBA and your input is welcome. We socialize AFTER.
Ultimately, we will perform at area events as well as nightclubs and community concerts. Whenever we are paid for events, ALL singers share the fee or may donate back to the Belmont Arts Center.
